New Delhi



New Delhi, or Delhi, the second largest city of India's national capital. Located on the banks of the river Yamuna is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Archaeological Remains of Delhi is testimony seniority in that city. It has a rich history of Indian capital of several empires of the medieval period. Delhi is proud of many important public functions, most importantly, the parliament of India. In recent years, Delhi has attracted many immigrants, and thus appears as a cosmopolitan city. Today it is an important political and commercial center in India. Highway connecting Delhi-Agra Delhi to the beautiful city of Agra, which is a major tourist attraction. The famous Taj Mahal and many other great monuments like Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Sikandara located. In the epic, the Mahabharata, it has been mentioned as a paradise.
